Kiwi's New Life Bird Rescue
Kiwi's is the host and organiser of the entire expo event.
Kiwi's is a not for profit, DGR registered charity.
Kiwi's is the main domestic bird rescue in Victoria. It supports other rescues by (amongst other things) running events such as this one. Kiwi's is growing, working steadily towards the goal of building a permanent board run customized facility that will be around to help birds in need long after we're all gone. Numerous smaller rescue operators are now working under the Kiwi's banner to achieve this. If you want to make a difference, supporting Kiwi's fundraising and events like this go a long way.
Make sure you drop past the Kiwi's stalls at the expo. There will be a toy making station, merchandise for sale and much more. Every purchase and $ donated helps us do what we do.

Our clinic is headed by registered specialist Dr Pat Macwhirter FANZCVS (Fellowship in Avian medicine and surgery) and Dr Matt Gosbell MANCVS (Membership in Avian medicine and surgery).
Our team further includes Dr Corrie Pinkster MANCVS - who not only has her membership in avian medicine and surgery, but also her membership in veterinary behaviour, making her the perfect person to see for all your birds’ behavioural needs.

The Story Behind FloofieFlock.. When I moved to Australia in 2022, I got my first pet bird his name is Bubble. I realised how much I needed to learn about bird care and spent hours watching videos and training my own bird. Coming from Germany, I was fascinated by the unique morning sounds of Australian wildlife and started exploring the country’s incredible natural beauty. This newfound love for birds sparked my curiosity about their origins and behaviors. At the same time, my love for stationery, kawaii designs, and DIY projects grew, especially since I could never find exactly what I was looking for in stores. Every pet has its own personality, and I wanted to capture that charm in a creative way. That’s how Floofie Flock was born – a collection of playful and relatable greeting cards designed for bird lovers.

Kosmotiel is a Melbourne based small independent business and artist. Subject wise I specialise in fan art and original art of birds (and a mixture of the two!). I am also the owner of two adopted cockatiels and a green cheek conure, who serve as huge inspirations for my art. I’ve been running this business for several years and over that time sold my art in the form of stickers, badges, keychains, prints, acrylic pins, tote bags and washitape. Lazzi's Legacy
Lazzi's Legacy Bird Rescue is a brand new rescue focused on rehabilitating budgies and other small birds. In the next few years, we hope to expand to become a registered charity and sanctuary for elderly and special needs small birds. A Chatter of Gentlemen (ACG) Bird Enrichment is run by the same team, and donates 20% of bird boarding profits directly to Lazzi's Legacy. We do all this in memory of our special blue budgie boy, Lasagna (Lazzi).

Unique Beaks
Since starting in 2019, we have helped to rescue and rehome approximately 300 birds. We care for many injured, unwell, elderly, and/or disabled birds who would otherwise be discarded or left to suffer. Our specialty is in the smallest of pet birds - finches, sparrows, canaries and budgerigars. We believe that small birds can lead big lives, and we are passionate about improving the living conditions of these birds through education, outreach, support, and advocacy. Our birds live happily and healthy lives with opportunities for friendship and foraging, plus quality enrichment, nutrition, and veterinary care.
